The Western Kentucky Raptor Center Grand Opening will be celebrated in conjunction with Earth Day 2007 at Yellow Creek Park this Sunday, April 22, 2007 from 2- 4 PM. Come and enjoy talks about Raptors and enjoy tours of the new Raptor hospital located at Yellow Creek Park, 5710 KY HWY 144 in Thruston, KY just east of Owensboro.

While visiting on Sunday help us to name our first permanent Raptor resident of the Western Kentucky Raptor Center a young male Red Tail Hawk.

The Western Kentucky Raptor Center (WKRC) is a non-profit organization and is dedicated to the conservation of birds of prey through public education of their role in our environment, rehabilitation of injured and orphaned raptors, reconditioning and release using falconry techniques.
