Our facilities are in need of improvements
and help from our friends in the community. We are
currently constructing a third mews and upgrading our flight
cage, which is a requirement for the reconditioning and release
of injured birds. We are also well on our way to
completing our examination/surgical room.
With the help of our community, our future plans will include
the establishment of a nature trail with permanent raptor
displays. The raptors to be displayed will be
rehabilitated birds that cannot be released into the wild.
Additionally, we will begin a Rare Raptor Breeding program to
breed such raptors as the Barn Owl. We also intend to
install an eagle aviary capable of housing a dozen eagles. |
